Nice post. Most of the techniques he shown are already known from years, to deal with large worlds/LOD’s. Unfortunately, you need to make your own engine also, as almost none of current engines have such “improvments” for specific things. If I remember exactly some cube map tricks/lods stuff was in GW1 from ages.
